On Tuesday, Gulf Air reported that a crew member’s heart attack forced it to reroute its flight GF19 from Bahrain to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris to Erbil, Iraq.
According to Gulf Air, on November 22, flight GF19 from Bahrain to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris was diverted to Erbil when a crew member suffered a heart attack and passed away there.
Later, as planned, the flight to Paris was resumed, according to the airline.
“The national carrier expresses its deepest condolences to the crew member’s family and loved ones, and confirms that the flight resumed to Paris as scheduled,” the airline said in a statement.
