For permanent positions based in either Toronto or Vancouver, Air Canada is currently hiring flight attendants.
On its website, the National Airline of Canada claimed that “Every trip our customers take is special, and that starts and ends with attracting the best people to our team,”
Those chosen will start an eight-week, full-time Air Canada flight attendant training course in either Montreal or Vancouver.
How much do flight attendants at Air Canada get paid?
The salary for an Air Canada flight attendant is listed as CAD 28.85/hour ($21.27/hour).
Although it did not provide an exact figure, the airline stated that training would be compensated at a lower rate.
What qualifications are needed to work as an Air Canada flight attendant?
Among the requirements to be a flight attendant for Air Canada are the following:
- At least 18 years of age
- Hold a valid Canadian passport that allows travel to all destinations served by Air Canada
- Available during irregular working hours (mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays)
- Willing to relocate to our Air Canada base in Toronto or Vancouver
