The Emirates A380 service has been advanced by one month, which means Perth, Australia, can anticipate seeing the Superjumbo plane earlier than anticipated.
The A380 service will launch a month ahead of its original December 1, 2022 return date, increasing Emirates’ existing capacity by more than 160 seats daily.
With more than 500 seats per trip, the Emirates A380 is planned to fly daily to Perth.
The increasing demand for foreign travel leaving Western Australia, according to Barry Brown, divisional vice president of Emirates for Australasia.
“Due to the consistently high demand for international travel out of Western Australia, we are thrilled that Perth will be joining our A380 network earlier than planned, which comes right as we proudly celebrate 20 years of flying to the city,” Brown said in a statement.
Brown added: “We would like to thank our Western Australian passengers for their loyalty. We are excited that from November, they will be able to enjoy our flagship A380’s signature amenities, industry-leading products and generous space across all classes once again.”
Emirates presently uses its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to fly to Perth. The A380 will be utilized beginning in November 2022.
Emirates also runs twice-daily A380 services from Dubai to Melbourne and Sydney, as well as a once-daily service from Dubai to Brisbane, in addition to its Perth services.
