Beginning November 6, 2022, Emirates will operate daily flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport (TPE).
The news coincides with Taiwan’s plan to reopen after ending its mandatory COVID-19 quarantine requirements for new immigrants.
Emirates’ EK366 flight from DXB to TPE will take off at 02:50 local time and land at 14:45 local time. Returning passengers can take aircraft EK367, which leaves TPE at 22:45 and lands in Dubai at 04:35 the following day.
The airline will operate the flight using its fleet of Boeing 777 aircraft.
Emirates’ Taipei-Dubai route is scheduled to go daily from 6 November, following the conclusion of Taiwan’s reopening plan with the termination of its mandatory COVID-19 quarantine restrictions for arrivals.

In 2014, the Dubai-based airline started nonstop daily flights to Taipei, which were also flown by a Boeing 777. A daily two-class A380 flight was added to the Dubai-Taipei route in 2016.
Emirates presently offers four weekly flights to Taipei.
