Emirates has announced that it will increase its flights from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to give passengers more options for travel during the winter of 2023.
The Dubai-based airline will operate an additional five times weekly service to London Heathrow starting from October 31, 2023, until March 30, 2024.
With its premier Airbus A380 fleet, the airline currently operates six daily flights to London Heathrow.
The extra flights will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The wide-body Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will be used for the flights, which will have first, business, and economy classes configured in a three-class configuration.
The upcoming flights will run according to the following schedules:
EK41 takes off from Dubai at 13:20 and arrives at London Heathrow at 17:20 local time.
EK42 takes off from London Heathrow at 20:15 and lands in Dubai at 07:15 the following day.
Currently, Emirates offers 126 flights per week to the UK, including:
-6 times daily A380 service to London Heathrow
-3 times daily A380 service to Gatwick
-2 daily service to Stansted
-3 times daily A380 service to Manchester
-2 daily services to Birmingham (including a daily A380 service)
-daily service to Newcastle
-daily A380 service to Glasgow
