According to data from the global aviation analytics organization OAG, Etihad Airways, the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates, was among the most punctual airlines in the Middle East and globally during the busiest summer travel season. Etihad has maintained an on-time arrival performance rating of 83% or above since April.
Since April 2022, OAG’s Punctuality League rankings have listed Etihad as one of the few Middle Eastern airlines that continuously strive for an on-time arrival performance of 80% and maintain one of the lowest cancellation rates globally.

OAG defines on-time performance as a flight arriving within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. This standard metric used by the airline industry accounts for the variety of variable circumstances that can have an impact on operations.
