The first image of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner bound for Lufthansa (LHAB) (LHA) has been captured in Seattle and is decked out in the colors of the country’s national carrier.

On May 16, 2022, the Paine Field blog published a picture of the jet, which has the registration D-ABPA. It was captured while the plane was being pulled out of the paint shop in anticipation of a test flight.

It is anticipated that the first of Lufthansa’s (LHAB) (LHA) 25 Dreamliners, to be named “Berlin,” will be delivered in May 2021.

The aircraft was supposed to be delivered in late 2021 or early 2022, but the manufacturer ran into a barrage of issues that caused deliveries to stop.

The 787 was partially to blame for Boeing’s substantial financial loss in FY 2021, and several airlines complained about the type’s quality control and other problems.
