Emirates is holding a number of open days across Australia in search of Australian applicants to join its cabin crew team.

The hiring drive coincides with Emirates continuing to experience robust Australian passenger demand across all of its cabins, including its recently introduced Premium Economy service.

According to Emirates, the company is looking for people who are passionate about providing guests with simple, exemplary, and personalized hospitality.

Requirements and training

Emirates is searching for applicants with a year of experience in hospitality or customer service and who speak and write English fluently. The Emirates Aviation College Cabin Crew Training in Dubai will offer training after candidates are chosen.

The leadership and life-saving techniques in safety and emergency procedures, the fundamentals of first aid during group medical training, industry observations and insights during security sessions, skincare, nutrition, and wellness tips during image and uniform training, and an understanding of the foundations of hospitality and the onboard food and beverage offering during service training are all things that new recruits will learn.

Benefits for Emirates’ cabin crews

A competitive, tax-free salary, flying pay, eligibility for profit sharing, and reimbursement for hotel and layover costs are all provided by Emirates.

Also available to them are annual leave, annual leave tickets, and significantly reduced flight tickets for themselves, their dependents, their extended families, and their friends, so they can travel either jointly or independently.

Additionally, Emirates provides fully furnished lodging, transportation to and from work, laundry service, and health, life, and dental insurance.

Australian open days

In Australia, Emirates will hold open days in June and July 2023.

Although it is recommended that applicants pre-register, walk-ins are welcome on the open day if they haven’t already done so.

Candidates must be ready to spend the entire day at the location. On the same day, shortlisted candidates will be advised of the times for subsequent testing and interviews. All applicants must bring a current curriculum vitae (CV) written in English and a recent photo.
