At Manila Airport in the Philippines, a Saudi Arabian Airlines Boeing 777-300 skidded off the taxiway and got stuck in the soft ground.
After arriving in the Philippines, the Saudia Boeing 777-300ER, with the registration HZ-AK22, was transporting passengers on flight SV-862 from Riyadh to Manila when it deviated off the taxiway.
The right main gear slipped into the soft ground at the end of the taxiway while it was being maneuvered towards the parking bay, as seen in the video that was posted online.
420 passengers and crew members were on board the flight. The event did not result in any injuries, and everyone on board debarked using mobile airstairs.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines Director General, Jim Sydiongco, and the Monreal were in charge of the scene following the incident. The event had no impact on any planes, according to the general manager of the airport.
