After landing at Copenhagen Airport, an Air Baltic Airbus A220 came to a halt on the taxiway after both engines shut down automatically.
On July 11th, an Airbus A220 with the registration YL-AAQ landed on Copenhagen’s runway 04L as flight BT-139 from Riga International Airport in Latvia.
However, as soon as the plane touched down on the runway, both Pratt & Whitney PW1500G engines shut down. The pilots slowed the plane and cleared the runway on their own.
To clear the runway, the pilots allegedly employed a high-speed departure. Following the disembarkation of all passengers, the A220 was pulled to a remote stand. Thankfully, no injuries were recorded.
