Emirates A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by United Cargo, an airfreight operator of significant US carrier United Airlines, and SkyCargo, the cargo business of Dubai-based airline Emirates.

The airlines have agreed to broaden their cargo interline arrangements in accordance with the conditions of the new contract, which was signed on September 30, 2022, in order to provide clients with broader access to airfreight services and more capacity on a larger combined worldwide flight network.

“This coordination will deliver benefits to air freight customers of both Emirates SkyCargo and United Cargo around the world,” Emirates said in a statement.

In exchange, Emirates SkyCargo would be given access to more than 200 United Cargo-served locations in the United States and 300 routes globally. United Cargo will have access to Emirates SkyCargo’s network through the aircraft belly-hold on passenger flights across more than 100 destinations.

“Cooperating with United will allow us to add value for our customers and help them reach new markets more speedily,” Nabil Sultan, Emirates SkyCargo divisional senior vice president, said.
