Three employees of Swiss International Airlines who were caught on camera dancing on a Boeing 777-300ER plane’s wing have been publicly disavowed.
The Swiss airplane was at Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) on August 16, 2023, when the video was apparently shot. After being shared by several media platforms, the video went viral.
Three crew members, two men, and one woman can be seen in the video rehearsing dance moves and posing in various ways for a camera that appears to be inside the cabin.
The spokesperson for Swiss International Airlines, Michael Pelzer, criticized this behavior, calling it unprofessional and a violation of safety procedures given that staff is only permitted on wings in an emergency, according to Swiss media.
