A video of a pilot covered in blood after a bird smashed through the plane’s windshield has been circulated online.
The horrifying video shows the big bird with its lower body dangling into the cockpit and rustling in the high gusts.
The man in the video appears to be a fighter pilot, but he is actually flying a Thrush 510P, a crop-spraying plane.
Captain Ariel Valiente, a pilot from Ecuador in South America, is thought to be the aircraft’s pilot.

He turns the camera on himself at one point in the video and shows his face with blood streaming down it.
It’s not immediately evident if Captain Valiente or the bird is the source of the blood.
The bird may be an Andean Condor, which has a wingspan of more than three meters.
It is believed that Vinces, in the province of Los Roses, is where the video was shot.
According to reports, the pilot managed to land the plane safely and without problem, however, the unfortunate bird perished in the incident.
